The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked 41, Yellow gold (ref. 15407BA.OO.1220BA.01) is available on request at BJAMIL, the watch space of Bijouterie Jamil in Montreal. Openworked dial revealing the twin balance wheels; 18k yellow gold, integrated bracelet, 41 mm case. Calibre 3132 mounts two balance wheels and two hairsprings on a shared axis for greater precision.
Designed in one night by Gerald Genta and launched in 1972, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak invented the luxury sports watch: octagonal bezel with exposed screws, Tapisserie dial, integrated bracelet. The Double Balance Wheel version, launched in 2016, is its most technical expression, here in full yellow gold.
