The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Openworked 39, Pink gold (ref. 15204OR.OO.1240OR.01) is available on request at BJAMIL, the watch space of Bijouterie Jamil in Montreal. Openworked dial revealing the movement; 18k pink gold, integrated bracelet, 39 mm case. The original Jumbo format, with a fully skeletonised extra-thin calibre.
Designed in one night by Gerald Genta and launched in 1972, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak invented the luxury sports watch: octagonal bezel with exposed screws, integrated bracelet, extreme thinness. The openworked Jumbo, produced in very small numbers in Le Brassus, is one of the hardest Royal Oaks to obtain.
